My family and I were traveling during spring break and wanted to find a place to train Jiu Jitsu for the week. After reading other reviews, we chose to check out STG Jiu Jitsu, and we are so glad we did! Professor Charlie Gardner and his wife Amanda were extremely welcoming, and the other students were friendly & great training partners. The level of instruction was very high quality. Prof Charlie's explanations were detailed and clear, and he was sure to give each student personal attention to make appropriate corrections, along with explanations. The energy of the gym was fun and family friendly. We even brought our children there to train at an open mat. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who is starting out in Jiu Jitsu or in the area and looking for a great place to train!

We were visiting the St George area and were lucky enough to find STG Jiu Jitsu. Charlie has a great spot with clean mats, friendly vibes, and amazing technique. We all had a great time training here and were able to get a few sessions in during our week in town. If you’re visiting the area check them out. If you happen to live in the St George area then you should definitely get on the mats and learn from Charlie. He is a high level black belt that has a great demeanor and teaching ability. It can be intimidating to learn something new, especially a martial art. This is a place that definitely makes the process more accessible and comfortable.

Awesome gym. I've tried out many gyms in different areas of the world and Charlie has the most detailed instruction I've experienced yet. His knowledge of grappling and ability to explain and break down moves in an easy to understand way is unparalleled. I've been super happy with my improvement since joining STG Jiujitsu

Dropped in two weeks ago when I was in town visiting Zion. Professor Charlie is awesome and very skilled. We had a roll and in the middle of me trying to do something, I froze and had a brain fart moment, but he knew what I was trying to do and walked me through the move. Facility is spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend STG to anyone interested in starting jiujitsu, looking for a new academy, and of course for drop ins as well.

Came out this evening to train at STG. We are coming from Texas and visiting the National Parks in the area. I thought I could go 6 days without BJJ, but needed to get some training in. Prof. Charlie is an awesome instructor and very welcoming. Gym is very nice and mats look new. If you are interested in learning jiujitsu get through those doors. Let professor Charlie guide you through your journey.
